'Moon in June' dates for 2009 will be June 5 th - 7 th. The October
'Harvest Moon' is no longer an event. We are focusing on only one event a year, and June won out. The Moon in June Celebration is a celebration of folk music and dance that happens once a year at Richard and Lynn Ferry's Kowana Valley Ranch, in northern Mariposa County, California. It takes place on the weekend closest to the full Moon. People who love Bluegrass, Old Time, Scandinavian, Cajun and Celtic and other folk music and dance are invited from all over the West, to come to share the good times and camp out in the splendor of the Sierra Mountains. - Lynn & Richard |
