Linnea Sepe-Forrest - October 2001 Kathy and Mommy took me camping, and Michael came, too. It was sunny. We slept in a tent. I bringed my tent. I set my tent up with Mommy. I had a sleeping bag. The sleeping bag was on the blankets. I heard doggies at nighttime. We brought food. I went to the fire. I cooked marshmallow. It turned brown like chocolate. It tasted good. They played musical instruments. I played accordion at the camp. I walked in the sunshine with Michael. I went swimming. The funnest part is when my mommy got scared because I fell in the deep water. I could have drowned, and my mommy got scared. I got up, and I didn't drown. We stayed one night, and then we went back. And I went in a bat cave. There was bat poo-poo, but no bats. And we went to the darkest part of it. There was a man playing flute in the bat cave, down in that cave that's really far. We had flashlights. We brought lots of lights so we could go in there. It was my first bat cave. My mommy never got to go in a bat cave when she as a little girl. -Linnea, October, 2001 |
